Elizabeth Holve's Profile

People are who they are because of how and where they were raised.  “ No matter how much I say that it sucks to live in Tuba City, Arizona because it seems like the middle of no were I know that truly in my heart that I love my town, I’m going to miss it when I go to college”, said Elizabeth Holve. Holve, the second and the youngest child of her family was born and raised in Tuba City, Arizona.

Tuba City has created Holve a kind person with patience that takes time listening to people it may be the fact that she has learned the importance that people need. Knowing somebody and caring for that person makes you respect that person that’s why people in urban cities loose respect to other people because they are careless. Even though Holve may not be exposed to different people but she has a value that other people don’t and that is being able to create yearlong special bonds. Holve’s kindness is humble, because of the people that she has lived around. “ They are Navajo and are very accepting.  For example in second grade they gave me a clan which in a way signifies that I’m being accepted into their family,” explained Holve.

Holve like everybody else does not like to think of herself a shy person. When it comes to meeting new people Holve is soft-spoken, and finds it hard for her to express herself.  She grew up in a community all her life, which has made it a challenge when she is not around people she is not accustomed to knowing.

In her small town Holve is less exposed to what people in larger cities are exposed too, Holve’s character is created because of where she was raised, Tuba City, Arizona.
