A Santee woman is celebrating after wining 100 million in the California state quick pick lottery Thursday night. Charlotte Keys, 34 claimed her prize on Friday morning in La Jolla. When she first heard that she won the lottery” Hell she was excited Charlotte said. Charlotte got the news first thing in the morning when she went to go check out her five-lottery tickets at Seven -Eleven the next morning, though one was the lucky winner.
Keys come from North Carolina and her husband Andrew Keys comes from Santee. With the 100 million dollars that she just won she wanted to open up a laundry mat that is fancy with a coffee shop on the side. Keys also wanted to live in a house that is attached to the top of her laundry mat. She also had in mind to be her own boss for the laundry mat. Just in case that the laundry mat buisness didn’t work out then they would have to sell it.
Andrew Keys was working as a garbage man till he got fired because he sucked at his job. Keys decide to hold off a bit before telling her husband that she won the lottery because she wanted to wait to see if her husband could get another job. They currently don’t have any children and are not planning too. Charlotte and Andrew do have pets but they don’t feel the need to give or donate caused the money is theirs.
Keys currently is working at Seven- Eleven and is a slurpee Specialist. She believes that she has accomplished a lot while working there and moved up. Keys wanted to get to see Michael Jackson when she started to burst up into tears after finding out the news that Michael Jackson was dead. “Can you please just give me a second.” She said.” She also said “I had no idea that he died.” Keys wants a chance to get to meet Paris Hilton’s mom. She thought that who ever raised Paris they did a brilliant job. Asking Keys what would be her reaction if Paris Hilton just walked right into the door right this second what would she do? Keys replied with no hesitations “I will pass out”. Right after Keys received her money, she went to go buy a shopaholic shirt. Keys dream was to get to meet or bump into any famous people. She also likes to shop a lot now that she has money.
Keys also thinks that the Jonas Brothers are hot and that she would want to go to Disney Land if she could visit any place. One thing that Keys always had the urge to learn was how to surf. Keys is so relieved that she can pay her bills and finally answer her phone after the creditors keep calling and don’t leave her alone. Keys have been working at Seven-Eleven for about 10 years. She likes the position that she is at and that she wouldn’t want to be the manager of the store.
5,45,16,11,16 and quick pick was 9 were the6 winning numbers that were announced. The 100 million dollars that was given away to the lottery winner must of change their life forever. Not only was she happy about wining but just cause she came from North Carolina she said “ I aint low class”
