Tabitha Lawrence

Tabatha Lawrence has moved several times throughout her life, nine to be exact.  She has moved throughout California between cities such as Wrightwood, Temple City, Laguna Hills, Rancho Cucamonga and Huntington Beach. Lawrence now resides in Upland, California in the Los Angeles County Area and lives with her Dad and Step Mom along with her five other siblings.  She is fifteen years old and attends Alta Loma High School as she enters her junior year she hopes to she looks forward to sitting in the front of the Auditorium for her school pep rally’s and she is more than excited to be on her Varsity Dance Team.

Her dream job is to be a journalist and perhaps working for Vogue Magazine in the near future.  One of Lawrence’s inspirations was watching one of her favorite Chick Flicks Movies “The Devil Wears Prada directed by David Frankel. “ She said, “Towards the end of the movie when Andy (played by Anne Hathaway) sees that her boss Miranda, (played by Meryl Streep) was divorcing her husband and the company was being passed on to someone else’s hands, Andy then asks “Why is this business so harsh?”  her boss responded with a wise answer-“That’s Part of life”-with that response I knew from then on that I wanted to be in a business where I can travel the world and experience my own mistakes and finally step out of my bubble.”

Because of her parents divorce at such a young age, Lawrence has become distant with her Mom, who lives in Pahrump, Nevada. She talks to her over the phone and sees her once a month, but because of her consistent moving of houses she never really was close to someone besides her sister Brittney Lawrence-who is eighteen years of age. Lawrence has two blood related sisters and three half sisters.

Lawrence and her sister Brittney are close to age and they often share the same ideas and thoughts which is one of the reason why they are close besides the fact that her oldest sister Nichole, has moved out of the house after receiving two tattoos, which are not in her household. For Lawrence her sister Brittney is the most admired and closest person to her besides her best friend Katie Tomzynski whom she met three years ago at school.  When she gets upset after an argument with her dad for taking her step mom side for example she feels as if her fathers decision are often unfair and therefore feels the comfort of her sisters presence and comfortable advice.

She changed her perspective of life, when it came to hanging out with friends when she met her best friend Katie Tomzynski. Up until then she never really had a close friend besides her sister, that she can be silly and have random conversations and not be embarrassed about it.  Since she is not close to many of her relatives she is happy that she has found a friend that she can truly relate too. “ I’m glad I have met such a great person like Katie because I can come up to her and ask for her opinion or advice on something, and I know that she will not judge me. Katie will listen and give great advice,” said Lawrence.  She often considers both her Best friend Katie and her sister as her two favorite people in the world.

As the year 2009 comes to an end she looks forward to spending more time with both her sister Brittney and her best friend Katie she only hope for the best in the future.
